The beauty of this holy text is Sri Suka Maharshi, the son of Vyasa who helped in transforming the fearful mind of King Parikshit into a fearless one. The father is narrating the discussion between his son, the Guru Sri Suka and the devotee or Shishya Parikshit. Bhagavatham is normally considered as a story of different Avathars or Incarnations.
